About me


I am a communications junkie living in a capital city with my partner-in-crime and two daughters. I was a SAHM who transitioned into part-time work in the winter - taking summers off - for 5 years while my two kids were young. In mid-life I started a career I loved, which is currently on hold.

At 42 I was diagnosed with a Motor Neuron Disease, Primary Lateral Sclerosis. This blog explores how to manage finances, travel, and family when facing an uncertain future.
